Weekly Summary.

This week totally flew by. The girls and I hung out doing the regular daily activities: playing with the dog, going to the pool, playing board games and watching It's  Me or the Dog ( very addicting show!).

Now that I have my wedding dress, I've been daydreaming about our wedding constantly. I think it's going to be so beautiful!!

Last week I swear I bruised a rib or pulled some muscle or something- jumping off the diving board. Yes, apparently that can happen. And to a 19 year old body nontheless. Diving board was off limits this week!

Today the girls and I watched Never Say Never ( Abby's favorite). I must say that I was really quite impressed. Overall a very wholesome, good documentary. I like that Justin and his group pray before each show, don't use foul language, and act in a civilized way ( unlike most artists today).

I'm so thrilled that I have finally determined a college plan for the Fall. Being out of school since last Fall has been so hard for me. I really love working in school and feeling like I'm earning something. I have missed school so much! I enrolled at Liberty University Online and was accepted! I'm already starting to enroll in classes and set things up for the fall semester. Since I've chosen the online route, I'll be able to work part-time while I work for my Bachelor's degree in Business : Project Management. I'm really, really looking forward to getting started and feel like this is the plan God intended for me to have!

I have surprisingly done pretty well exercise and diet wise considering my schedule. I'm secretly anticipating the Fall when I can dedicate to a strict daily workout schedule and diet. Right now convenience is a huge element, so I just work with what I have.

I took the girls to Chickfila to see Spongebob on Monday night. They were super shy about being around him, but they warmed up after a little bit and posed for a picture :).

I think that's about it for this week! Have a wonderful weekend! <3

The best time of day.

To me, the best time of day is night. I love that everyday I can look forward to having a hot, relaxing shower and slowly make my way to my pillowy, soft bed. I love the fact that I'm not on a time schedule and don't have to rush to get ready like I do in the mornings. Perhaps I like bedtime a little too much. I was telling my fiance the other night ( over the phone) how much I love bedtime and he replied with, " Yes dear, I know. You talk about it every single night!" What can I say? It's true. Thankfully, no matter what happens in life, I will always have a relaxing bedtime to look forward to :).

Highs and Lows of life.

My mind is in so many directions right now! First, I have lost misplaced my camera. My nice camera. My Canon camera. :( I am in utter despair. I'm praying that I can find it somewhere! While I search the house, car, and girls' house - it must turn up somewhere. it has to.  Moving on. . . . .

Last Saturday, my Mother and I went shopping, and I found the one. I found it. My wedding dress!!! After making several trips to the dress shop and trying on so many different designs, I knew this one was it. It fits me perfectly (no alterations needed), and feels so comfortable and right! I felt like a princess wearing it. I'm so thrilled to wear it on my wedding day! It was on sale for a great price, and I had a coupon as well! I was giddy walking out. Plus, I got my beautiful veil and a flower hairpiece. I am beyond ecstatic.

I worked a little bit of reading into my schedule this week. Read about 5 hours during downtime at work yesterday and a few during the week while the girls were swimming, etc. I love to read. It's so relaxing to me.

This week, my mind is focused on : preparing for the fall semester of teaching the youthies, preparing to take online courses from my new school, Liberty ( which I am totally in love with)! , keeping the girls busy with summertime activities, and trying to keep somewhat of a consistent diet/ exercise plan!

Choice.

For the past 3 or so years I have been trying to determine how I would like to spend my future. I was certain who I wanted to spend it with, and who I wanted to worship and serve, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Career wise. It has been the biggest struggle of my life. I will begin to pursue a certain direction, and then God will close the door, or show me a different way to go. I've been on two different paths than I ever thought possible, and I'm about to venture onto my third. I am confused. I do not know what the future holds, but I know that I can trust God. I know that everything will work together for good in the end. I do know what my dream job is, though. I want more than anything to be the best wife that I can be. Second, I want to be the best mommy I can be. My dream would be to stay at home ( possible work part time from the house), and take care of my husband and children. That would fulfill me. That would make me the happiest. I do not want tons of money, I don't care about being famous, I don't want anything except to be loved and love others. I've grown so exhausted from hearing advice from everysingle person and his mother about which career path I should take. I know that most of these people have wonderful intentions, but honestly, if you don't know me well enough then don't tell me how to spend the rest of my life! I've had so many people tell me to join a nursing program or become a doctor. If they knew me, they would know that the sight of blood makes me vomit, and that I cannot stand being around needles- much less sticking one into someone's arm! Those who truly know me understand that I love taking care of others and want to be there for my husband and children. . . all the time. To me, that would be the most fulfilling career on earth.
With all that said, I've enrolled at Liberty University Online and am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business this Fall. I'm also going to school to become a court reporter at the same time. I'm not sure which direction God will lead me, but I want to be prepared when He calls.

What I'm Loving:

I'm loving this funny clip I saw on google. I had a super intense workout tonight, and this fits my thoughts exactly.

I'm loving the super hot weather we're having. Well, I'm loving it when I'm near the water. I'm loving that the sun has bronzed my skin several shades darker than my wintery tone. I love that summery, healthy glow warm weather gives.

I'm loving this line from Shopaholic. I finally got to go on a mini shopping spree (the first in months) last week and I was on cloud nine :).
I'm loving that I'm going with my darling fiance tomorrow night to see Midnight in Paris. I've heard it's really romantic and sweet :).

Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Only 2 more days until the weeekendd!!!!

Weekly events and etc.

I know my blog is slowly but surely diminishing into nothingness. Each day seems like there are fewer and fewer hours to get things done. Between my lengthy commute, full days with the girls and attempting to get 6 hours of sleep each night, I don't have time to think about blogging, much less do it! I'm trying to squeeze it in whenever possible, but I find that I'm super scatterbrained and can't focus on what to write about- so much happens within the time span of one week!

Here's a tiny run-down of our week so far:

Monday spent a few hours at the pool ( typical day) and played a few games of checkers. I lost every. single. one. ( they're kinda like little champions). We also painted our finger nails with glow in the dark nail polish. Now our nails glow a nice, alien green during bedtime :).

Today we painted wooden picture frames and took photos to fill them with. Maddy painted a very festive ladybug, complete with matching hat and legs. Abby painted a purple butterfly, and I did a bright red flower. It's amazing to me how creative the kids are. They are so talented and creative! We also played the game of Spoons about 7 times ( I actually won this one).

Tomorrow we are going to make popsicles out of fruit juice.

I love the fact that days are so spontaneous with children. Though their attention spans are sometimes very short, they always exude excitement and such a thrill for life. Being a full time nanny has taught me so much so far, but mostly it's taught me that I really want to be a mother someday. There is nothing I enjoy more than caring for kids and loving on them. Kids are way more entertaining than any top rated television show or movie. If only I could keep a book of their quotes, I would never have a dull moment in life!

I think it's so surprising and funny how quickly my perspective changed from that of a child's to a mother's . A child's question is always "why not?" Why not eat a cupcake before dinner? Why not do an awesome backdive off the bed? I notice myself constantly saying, "what if?" What if you get a tummy ache? What if you break your head? What if, what if, what if. I've found that if I'm not saying "what if" then I'm jumping five feet across the floor trying to fix the catastrophe at hand. Being a mom must be so stressful! But I imagine that it is also tremendously rewarding.  Though I've only had my job for about seven months, I've learned a lifetime of motherhood lessons. All the experience has me trembling at the thought of raising my own kids, but also shrieking inside with excitement about how much fun it will be.

Gap sale.

Incase you haven't picked up, Gap is my favorite clothing store. I love the style & quality of the products! They had a huge sale this weekend. 40% off already on sale items. Here are a few of the pieces I got:

I also got a really soft, stretchy black scoopneck tee. :).

You are so appreciated.

Week re-cap / What I'm loving.

I'm loving that my Mommy is safe and sound! She was in a horrible car accident yesterday and the Lord really protected her! Her back in aching, but she is in far greater condition than she could have been.

I'm loving that this weekend is July 4th! Though I am working the majority of it, I am so PROUD to be an American!
I'm really loving that I'm getting to sqeeze in a movie date tonight! I was worried about my Mom staying alone, but she is promising not to go anywhere and just sit and watch television all evening :). My fiance made plans for us to go on a mega- date ( like 3-4 couples!) to eat downtown and see the latest Transformers movie. I'm so excited!
Raspberries. I have been eating these things like nobody's business. My top cravings this week: 1) Salty. I'm typically a sweets kind of girl, but this week I have been going for the salty. I found out that Baked chips are gluten free ( actually, most potato chips are gluten free because they are made from Corn instead of barley, wheat or rye) , and it's caused me to think about them all the time. 2) Fruity. Chocolate hasn't really been on the top of the list this week. A couple of times I did have that emergency I neeeeed some  chocolate right now feeling.

I'm loving that I'm taking the girls to see Monte Carlo next week :). They're die-hard Selena Gomez fans & I think it looks like a super cute flick.

Have a safe, fun 4th weekend!!
